ABOUT DAWN F. PRYOR

Dawn F. Pryor is the youngest of three daughters. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dawn studied under the choral direction of Beth Chasin in the S.T.A.R Academy Magnet Program at Michael Krop High. There she performed in school musicals and dabbled in the sports of Cross-Country and Track&Field. In between musicals Dawn performed each year in the Voices in the Night music shows with fellow singers. Venturing towards the jazz scene, she sang alongside the Krop Jazz band with the Starlight Singers at such places as the Turnberry Suites in Aventura and local high schools.

Post high school graduation, Dawn decided to try her luck in theatre at the University of Central Florida. She walked away with a bachelor's Degree in Theatre Studies in 2006.

Dawn relocated to Chicago IL post graduation and there you may find her in a dance studio taking class and maybe even teaching classes. If not , Dawn F. Pryor is on a stage or on camera, somewhere in Chicago, continuing to perfect her craft.
